Emily's baptised

After a year, we joined the Methodist church as a family today... and we were so grateful to watch our daughter be baptised. Asleep on Jon's shoulder through the whole thing like a beautiful angel, she was even snoring! until the minister put the water on her head (not just a sprinkle, but a cup full!) He was holding her and her eyes popped open in pure shock! She didn't cry, but she never took her eyes off him!!! We're are very blessed for both our children and feel glad to finally have a church home! Thanks to Mom, Dad and Grandma Moeller for being part of our special day!

Emily loves the tree

Our Christmas tree is perched on top the coffee table and surrounded by the "Baby Jail"... surely it would keep Ms. Emily out... yeah... she's much smarter than that! She climbs right up, looks at you to be sure you're getting this, and then grabs whatever fits into her tiny (yet mighty) hand! She is also the human vacuum cleaner... she can find the tiniest speck ... EVERYTHING goes in her mouth... good times... but she's so cute you just can't help but laugh! So different with the second child... you just hope whatever is in her mouth is edible!

Santa Claus is coming to town

So... Evan finally gets to meet the infamous "Santa"... Of course, Mr. curious has many questions... he is baffled as to how Santa arrived... then we I told him by sled and reindeer he demanded to know where they were... I told him the roof, of course, and he wanted to know if they got cold up there. While Mommy is running out of answers, the line was finally getting shorter... So, when the big moment arrived to finally meet the man who is bringing presents only to good boys and girls (believe me, we've milked this one for all it's worth!) Evan was all business. He needed Santa to know he wanted a Lightning McQueen computer. But he told Santa he didn't need anything else. Santa told him to "be good" and Evan empathically nodded and said "OH I WILL!". He was mesmerized! Much better scene that last year when Santa scared the wazoozen out of him and he screamed for an hour! OH ... Friday we're driving home and we drive past a field of cows that we normally stop, roll the window down and say hello to. We're almost home and Evan says, "Mommy, did you know a cow curls his tail when he goes potty?!" Nope, didn't know that!!!

Emily's new ride

Emily got a baby stroller for her birthday and instead of the teddy bears having a smooth ride... Papa thought Ms. Emily would enjoy it more! AND SHE DID! Ohhh the giggles! Great idea Papa!

The day is done...

Looking at this couch full of energy you can see why Mommy and Daddy are headed to bed early tonight! What a crew!

E sqaured goes patriotic!

So, you all know that Evan is quite the boy genius (okay, so we're very biased, but he has proven his smarts lately with his hard questions!) The other day he used the word "indivisible" in a sentence and I couldn't figure out where it came from... So, watch the video and you'll see just how much he remembers! Who knew! He latest funny... and really only women can appreciate this one - the other night we were sitting on the floor playing and he says, "Mommy, your leg hairs are furry"... I say, yes... it's wintertime and that happens. So, you can see his brain processing... he says, "Are you trying to be a bear?" Not a bad idea. Ahh... the entertaining times of E squared! Just hope the sugar has worn off and Emily sleeps tonight! After cake and mashed potatoes last night she was a live wire alllllllll night long! She's a partier!! Love to all! Incase you wondered... he also knows every word to "My Country Tis of Thee"...

The day was packed with energy!
